The %CENTROID annotate macro might not return valid centroid values for the U.S. when used with the MAPS.WORLD map data set. The values might lie outside the U.S. No errors or warnings are written to the SAS Log when this occurs.
This problem might also occur when using the %MAPLABEL annotate macro because the %CENTROID macro is called by the %MAPLABEL macro.
There is currently no circumvention for this problem.
